South Carolina Early Voting Opens on October 21 for 2024 General Election

Early voting in South Carolina for the 2024 general election begins on Monday, October 21, and runs through Saturday, November 2. During this period, voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots at any early voting center in the state. Voting will be available Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with centers closed on Sundays and state holidays.

To participate in early voting, South Carolinians must bring a valid Photo ID, such as a South Carolina driver’s license or a U.S. passport. The voting process is designed to be as seamless as election day itself, using the same voting machines and systems at the early voting centers.  Check your voter registration here.
