Fort Mill School District Hosts Parent University on October 5

FORT MILL, S.C. — The School Counselors of Fort Mill School District will host Parent University on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Forest Creek Middle School. This event aims to provide parents with valuable resources and information to support their children’s education, mental health, and physical wellness.

The event begins at 9:00 a.m. with vendor tables offering information about community resources. Attendees can browse and speak with local organizations before the sessions begin.

Starting at 9:30 a.m., four concurrent, 30-minute sessions will be held, covering a variety of topics relevant to parenting and student success. Sessions will continue until 12:00 p.m., providing a wide range of educational and outreach opportunities.

The goal of Parent University is to equip parents with tools and knowledge to help their children thrive during the school year, addressing areas such as education, mental health, and overall well-being.
