CHARLESTON, SC (09/25/2024)–Several students from the area were recognized for their academic achievements at The Citadel during the spring 2024 semester. Daniel Nasson of Fort Mill, SC, was named to the prestigious President’s List, the highest honor available to cadets and students. Additionally, numerous cadets and students earned Gold Stars for outstanding performance and were named to the Dean’s List for their excellence in academics. These recognitions highlight the hard work and dedication of local students excelling at The Citadel.
Daniel Nasson of Fort Mill, SC is among the more than 60 cadets recognized for their outstanding work during the spring 2024 semester.
The President’s List is one of the most distinguished cadet awards presented by The Citadel. The list is a combination of the dean’s list and the Commandant’s Distinguished List and is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies while maintaining excellent military and academic records.
The dean’s list is a recognition given to cadets and students who are registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher, with no grade of I (Incomplete) and no grade below C for work in a semester.
