Peking Tokyo, a popular Asian restaurant in Tega Cay, has closed its doors for good. Known for its unique combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisine, the restaurant offered a variety of dishes including chow mein, moo shu, sashimi, and sushi.
Located just off SC-160 in the Graystone Crossing shopping center, Peking Tokyo ceased operations about two weeks ago, according to neighboring business employees. The restaurant was situated between Great Clips and Danny’s Pizza, another local favorite.
Landlord William J. Spivock announced that the restaurant has been shut down for renovations, paving the way for an entirely new dining concept. While Spivock did not disclose details about the upcoming restaurant, he assured that the new establishment should be ready by the fall.
