Reminder: Primary Election Day in York County - June 11, 2024

Election Day is tomorrow, and it’s vital that every eligible voter in York County makes their voice heard in the upcoming primary election on June 11, 2024. Your participation is crucial in shaping the future leadership of our community. Here’s everything you need to know to ensure you’re prepared to vote.

Early voting has seen significant engagement, with over 5,700 votes already cast, according to the York County elections office. This strong turnout highlights the enthusiasm and commitment of voters in our community.

Races on the Ballot

This primary election will determine the Republican candidates for seven important races. Some races are highly competitive, and if no candidate secures a majority, a runoff election is scheduled for June 25, 2024. There are no Democrat primary elections. However South Carolina is open primary state, which means voters can vote in either primary. Here are the races and the candidates:
