Tega Cay Men’s Golf Association Par 3 Tournament Sees Thrilling Finishes and a Hole in One

Tega Cay, SC – This weekend, the Tega Cay Men’s Golf Association hosted its much-anticipated Par 3 tournament, employing a two-man Shamble format that brought both competition and camaraderie to the forefront. The event, divided into two flights following a blind draw, saw players from across the region showcasing their skills in a bid for the top spots.

In the Shamble format, both team members teed off, selected the best shot, and then played their own ball to the hole, leading to a dynamic and strategy-filled game. The results were closely contested, particularly in Flight 1, where Kenny Hall and Matt Brown clinched the first place with a score of +3. Close on their heels were Mike Holcomb and Adam Eastwick at +5, followed by Juan Melchor and Bryan Voss with +9.

Flight 2 saw equally fierce competition, with Chris Lounsbury and Paul Liles leading the pack at +2. The battle for second was a tie between Tom McGrath/Dale Eberle and Scott Frattaroli/Andrew Dunlap, both pairs finishing at +6.
