McConnells, SC (Tega Cay Sun) – Historic Brattonsville invites visitors to its annual Christmas Candlelight Tours. Members Only on Dec. 8, while Everyone is Welcome on Dec. 9 & 10.
Visitors can embark on a guided candlelit tour led by a period-dressed guide, transporting them to the year 1867. Explore how the Christmas season illuminated the mixture of apprehension and hope in post-Civil War York County.

- Participate in hands-on activities: Candle-dipping and crafting ‘scherenschnitte’ (German for “scissor cuts”) snowflake ornaments
